The Los Angeles Labor Day
Labor Day will be celebated on Monday, September 6th in 2010. Labor Day was first celebrated
on September 5th, 1882. All 50 states in the United States have its a holiday. Typically, it is accompanied by parades
and political and economic speeches.
Labor Day is traditionally though as the end of the summer vacation season. It is
often the last trip to the beach for the year. Some activities that offer on this end of summer holiday include picnics, barbecues,
fireworks displays, water sports, parades and public art events. It also marks near the time most schools start.
Los Angeles
will have several events going on durning the labor day weekend. Taste of Beverly Hills
will be held from Thursday through Sunday and
includes food and wine tastings at 9900 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA .The Los Angeles County Fair begins on 09/04/2010 and
runs the entire weekend. Then from September 9th to October 4tth, it runs Wednesday through Sunday. The location is The
Fairplex in Pomona, 1101 W. McKinley Ave, Pomona, CA 91768. The
KJAZZ Blues Bash will be held from noon to 6pm with a street festival
followed by live music performances ouside the carpenter Center on September 4yj. This will be followed by a ticketed event
inside the Carpenter Center at Cal State Long Beach. The LA/Long Beach Labor Coalition and AFTRA-SAG Labor Day Parade will
be held on Monday September 6th and will start at 10am. There will be a first be the parade followed by a rally then a picnic
at noon. The rally will include music, speakers, and hot dogs. The locations are Broad and E Street, Wilmington, CA to
