Los Angeles Museums and Exhibits

 

Heritage Square Museum is located at 3800 Homer Street, Los Angeles, California 90031 and deals with preservation and interpretation of LA culture.  There is an events calender which tell what is going on.

 

J. Paul Getty Museum is located at 1200 Getty Center Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90049.  There are exhibitions and installations.

 

Museum of Neon Art is located at 136 West 4th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

 

Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is located at 900 Exposition Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90007.  There is currently an exhibit called the  amazing story of mammals which deals with prehistoric mammals.  There is a list of upcoming exhibits.  Th calender tell you what is going on at the museum.

 

Petersen Automotive Museum is located at 6060 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036-3605.  The exhibitions tell the of the car in our society.

 

The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA is located at 152 North Central Avenue, LOS ANGELES, CA 90013.  There are exhibitions of the artwork.  There are also permanent collections.
